Beatty
Rachel is a Lansing native who became acquainted with the gallery when her artwork was displayed in the Ingham County Student Exhibition as a Holt student. Fast-forward 12 years, and she joined the board in 2022. With an abundance of enthusiasm for the city's economic growth and development and community awareness, she looks forward to volunteering her time for the Lansing Art Gallery and Education Center. In her role at Lansing Entertainment Public Facility Authority (LEPFA), she manages the marketing initiatives for LEPFA's three venues (Lansing Center, Groesbeck Golf Course, Jackson Field) and Lansing signature events such as Silver Bells in the City. Her daily duties are never the same. However, she constantly brainstorms creative solutions for new, exciting possibilities in Lansing. In her slim downtime, she loves spending time with her family, gardening, golfing, crafting, and starting DIY home improvement projects that never seem to end.

Passionate about supporting local arts and artists, her home is filled with local art. Alongside her husband, Amy is also a dedicated beekeeper. When not working, she can be found bike riding, walking her dogs, or indulging in hobbies like reading and drawing.

Chad is a passionate sales leader dedicated to building a strong culture and helping sales teams succeed. Digital sales manager, designing custom digital marketing strategy for the WLNS (CBS affiliate) and WLAJ (ABC affiliate) sales team in Lansing, Michigan. From small businesses to global corporations, we have online marketing solutions to help our clients reach their goals. Chad is married to a talented artist named Sheri Munce, who specializes in reverse painting on glass. He is also in a local cover band called the Black Barn Band, which plays at local events and festivals in the greater Lansing area. Chad enjoys golf, water sports, and walking through Williamston with his Bernese Mountain Dog.

Josh Pompey has spent the last 20 years in various retail positions, currently serving as regional manager for Consumers Credit Union, overseeing the Lansing market and municipal banking department. Josh is passionate about encouraging those around him to achieve their goals and find innovative solutions to challenges within the organization and his community. In addition to his day-to-day role at Consumers, he serves on the credit union’s talent magnet team, the UNITE diversity equity and inclusion committee, and the mentorship program. Josh enjoys trail running, board games, and traveling with his daughter, Elle, in his free time.

Sydney is a passionate supporter of the arts in Michigan and beyond. At the University of Michigan Museum of Art, she works with donors across all levels to secure support for the museum and its mission. One of Sydney's first professional roles after graduating from Michigan State was the Education Coordinator position at the Lansing Art Gallery, and she has been hooked on LAG ever since. Outside of her job, Sydney enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, visiting art museums and galleries, and spending time with her partner and her Corgi, Scooter.
