Retail Gallery Application
Overview
• Artists must be living in Michigan.
• Artists must be 18 years of age or older.
• All artwork must be original art of the artist’s own creation.
• All accepted artwork must be finished and ready for display.
• Gallery personnel will display artwork.
• Artwork must have been completed within the past 3 years.
Commission
Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center retains a commission (45% for members and 50% for non-members) of all sales. Artists are not required to be members of the Gallery.
Declined Artwork
If work is declined, artists may submit artwork again when for a reconsideration a new retail gallery application is available. Juror comments are available upon request.

Apply NowTurner Park
Turner Park is just south of Old Town and is at the south end of Buchard Park where the Brenke Fish Ladder is located. This site is right next to the Oakland Trailhead where free parking can be found and there is also a playground nearby.
Turner Dodge House
This historic house and grounds are located in the North side of Lansing in the historic neighborhood of Old Town. The location of this ArtPath site is situated behind the house right off the River Trail.
The Grassy Knoll
This grassy knoll is just south of the Turner Dodge House on the River Trail in the historic Old Town Neighborhood. This space is just off of the trail and includes a shady area with a bench.
Old Town Boardwalk
This long stretch of boardwalk is in the heart of the historic Old Town Neighborhood. The boardwalk and the space under the Cesar Chavez Bridge are available to be reimagined. This boardwalk is a popular area for people to walk, jog, bike and fish.
Buchard Park - South
This site is located in Buchard Park just south of the Brenke Fish Ladder in the historic Old Town Neighborhood. It can be found right next to the river near a fishing dock and across from a small garden.
Seating Area on the Old Town Boardwalk
This wooden boardwalk is in the heart of the historic Old Town Neighborhood. This built in seating area comfortably seats two adults and across from a popular fishing spot. This area is a short walk from a staircase that takes pedestrians up to the Old Town neighborhood popular for their restaurants, shops and festivals.
Buchard Park - South 2
This spacious, grassy area houses the Brenke Fish Ladder in the historic Old Town Neighborhood. This park is a great spot for a sculpture or installation and it will be home to two ArtPath works this year.
Oakland Trail Head
This site is located in Turner Park, just south of Buchard Park and a short walking distance away from the Brenke Fish Ladder. This grassy area is next to a trailhead where a playground is nearby and free parking is available.
Buchard Park - North
This spacious, grassy area houses the Brenke Fish Ladder in the historic Old Town Neighborhood.
Saginaw St. Trail Head
This site is just north of Saginaw St. and is located near a trail head. This grassy area is expansive filled with mature trees and a has a small bench for visitors to take a seat to rest.
River Front Pathway East
This cement pad is tucked into a lovely park next to the River Trail just north of the Shiawassee St. Bridge. It is located across from the river bank that is adjacent to Adado Riverfront Park, which is a popular festival park.
River Front Dock
This wooden dock is just north of the Shiawassee St. Bridge and overlooks the Grand River and Adado River Front Park. This is in a popular area and close to the newly renovated Rotary Park.
Downtown Boardwalk Near Impression 5
This site can be found along the boardwalk in Downtown Lansing, just south of Michigan Avenue behind Impression 5 Science Center.
Wall South of Kalamazoo St. Bridge
This long, low wall is just south of the Kalamazoo St. Bridge. Visitors can also enjoy a wildflower garden nearby.
R.E. Olds Pocket Park
We are crossing the river again this year and continuing to extend ArtPath on the West side of the Grand River. A short walking distance from the beautifully restored 1930's power plant which is now home to the AF group is the Shiawassee Bridge.
Grassy Area between Kalamazoo St. & 496 1
This site can be found just south of the Kalamazoo St. Bridge in a grassy area near the trail, and features a wildflower garden nearby.
Grassy Area North of the 496 Bridge
This grassy area is perfect for a sculpture and it has been home to ArtPath sculptures in the past.

This site can be found just south of the Kalamazoo St. Bridge in a grassy area near the trail, and features a wildflower garden nearby.

This long wall under the 496 Bridge is home to a number of murals from ArtPath's history. This particular wall is situated in the middle of the long wall under the bridge and can be found in between murals from previous years.

This site can be found at the south end of a long wall underneath the 496 bridge and features an angular wall. Several ArtPath murals from previous years line this wall nearby.
Elm Park North
This large green space is part of a well-loved park frequented by the community. It is located in REO Town and features a playground nearby.
Elm Park Near the Baseball Field
This park is a popular space for families and neighbors, as it features a baseball field and is just south of a playground nearby.
Grassy Area Near Cedar St.
This site is located right next to the Cedar St. Bridge near Elm St. and the KWIK Car Wash.
Under the Cedar St. Bridge - Right
This site is located underneath the Cedar St. bridge near Elm St. and Elm Park. The new ArtPath installations are found on the structural component of the bridge, right next to the river.

This site is located underneath the Cedar St. bridge near Elm St. and Elm Park. The new ArtPath installations are found on the structural component of the bridge, right next to the river.

Grassy Area Near Elm St. & Cedar St.
This large grassy site houses mature, shade trees and two benches. It can be seen from Cedar St. and it is situated between the Cedar St. & Beech St. bridges.
